Kerrang! cover stars The Answer are among the latest wave of artists who have been added to the ever-expanding Download 2009 bill.Currently touring around the UK with legends AC/DC, the Irish crew are excited to rock out for the summer festival audience."We're really looking forward to playing at Download again this year," says frontman Cormac Neeson. "We played it in 2007 and it'll be great to be back as it's one of our favourite festivals. See you down the front!"Also added this week are Bring Me The Horizon, fresh from a successful trek around the USA on the Taste Of Chaos tour."Download's always a right laugh!" says vocalist Oli Sykes. "The first time we played it was crazy, it was the biggest show we had ever done. We've been touring all over the world recently, so it will be great to get to a good British event. We can't wait to play."The other bands added to the bill this week are: Fightstar, Stone Gods, Shinedown, Staind, Go:Audio, Static-X Volbeat, Facecage and Auger Bane.Download 2009 takes place at Donington Park on June 12, 13 and 14. The festival will be headlined by Faith No More, Slipknot and Def Leppard. Other bands on the bill include: Anvil, Architects, Billy Talent, Black Stone Cherry, Buckcherry, Chris Cornell, Clutch, DevilDriver, Dir en grey, Down, DragonForce, Dream Theater, Five Finger Death Punch, Journey, Karma To Burn, Killswitch Engage, Korn, Lacuna Coil, Lawnmower Deth, Limp Bizkit, Loaded, Marilyn Manson, Meshuggah, Motley Crue, Opeth, Papa Roach, Parkway Drive, Pendulum, Skin, Steadlur, Tesla, The Blackout, The Prodigy, Trivium, Whitesnake, You Me At Six and ZZ Top.Tickets for Download are on sale now from www.aloud.com. Prices are as follows: a full weekend ticket: £135, camping: £25, family camping: £25, car parking: £10 advance, £20 on the day, camper vans: £40, lockers: £11.
