Reuters - Punk band Rancid will release its first album in six years on June 2, two days before it begins a North American tour with Rise Against in Vancouver, B.C.

Californian punk legends Rancid will begin work on their follow-up to 2009's Let The Dominoes Fall in September. The as-yet-untitled effort will be produced by Bad Religion guitarist (and Epitaph owner) Brett Gurewitz.The band will tour the U.S. from August 25 for a nine-date stint as special guests of Blink 182.

Blink 182 and My Chemical Romance will headline this summer's Honda Civic tour in the US.The 40 date trek will kick off on August 5 in Holmdel, New Jersey and conclude on October 15 in San Diego, California. Support will come from Manchester Orchestra and Rancid.Watch a video of Blink announcing the tour below.
