Bat For Lashes' excellent new album Two Sons has plenty gorgeous stuff on it. For instance, we showed you an earlier live incarnation of "Moon On Moon." If I had to choose favorites, though, I'd point to those Chippendale drums and general windblown feel of opener "Glass," the chilly, running-in-the-dark dance-floor love song "Daniel," and Natasha Khan's ghostly, spare "it's curtains down time" duet with Scott Walker, "The Big Sleep." Fittingly, the latter's the closer ... because (a) it's about saying goodbye and voices fading and (b) it would be difficult following up a guest spot, however brief, from a vocal genius.
