This is looking like a bad year for normal dudes obsessed with semi-indie starlet/singers and normal ladies obsessed with semi-famous troubadours troubled by the world at large. First Ben Gibbard and Zooey Deschanel. Now Ryan Adams and Mandy Moore, as E! reports. It's official: getting married is the new breaking up. Anyone who subscribes to Sufjan Beat shouldn't be terribly surprised by the engagement-- Moore was seen in many a candid photo over the last few weeks on Ryan's weblog (which seems to be down at the moment...). And, thanks to our BFFs at E! Online, we know the couple have been seeing each other on and off since December 2007. So, yeah...good luck! Back in 2003, Ryan Adams was playing Nashville’s fabled Ryman Auditorium, and one fan wouldn’t stop requesting that he cover Bryan Adams’ cheese-rock hit “Summer Of ’69.” Ryan famously kicked the fan out, cussing him out and throwing him a refund in the process. Hopefully, that fan was ...
During his show at eminent Nashville venue The Ryman last night, Ryan Adams enlisted spouses Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires to help him perform “Jacksonville Skyline.” This is basically all my dreams brought together in one place — and all the fans of Isbell, Adams, and Shires probably feel the same way.
