The last time I saw this song performed live was at Roseland Ballroom. This take on Skeletal Lamping's "Beware Our Nubile Miscreants" is considerably more stripped, partially because it features Barnes and the Late B.P. Helium on acoustic guitars, mostly because this time Kevin and his brother aren't dressed as centaurs and fife-blowing satyrs. This time it's intimate. The full touring troupe is in tow, though, so it's more a rearrangement than an Unplugged performance, with a handful of psychedelic swooshes and occasional keyboard drums to color the song's E6 pop core.
