Feist has won all sorts of awards for teaching math to the less fortunate, but her charity doesn't stop there. The angelic indie folk star also donated a new recording to Dark Was The Night, a comp from HIV/AIDS awareness organization Red Hot. (Check the insane tracklist.) On this cover of Alasdair Clayre's "Train Song," Feist is joined by Death Cab For Cutie's Ben Gibbard, another guy who no one would fault for laying low this winter. Vashti Bunyan's version from 1966 is gorgeous so check that out after streaming Leslie & Ben's take at MySpace. It'll only be streaming for a day! Dark Was The Night is out 2/17 via 4AD.
