Folks didn't necessarily agree that the forthcoming Red Hot compilation Dark Was The Night included your favorite bands, but it does include a lot of bands (31 exclusive tracks), many of whom you'll likely enjoy. See, for instance, the previously reported and analyzed collaboration between David Byrne and Dirty Projectors. If you recall, Byrne wrote the lyrics (in all caps) and as he noted "Dave and Co. set them to a bouncy little tune." Turns out that was an apt description. It is very bouncy.
