The next time Justice want to hook up with a rapper, we suggest Just-Ice.-- Russell Simmons is teaming up with a bunch of fellow luminaries to present to Hip-Hop Inaugural Ball on January 19 at D.C.'s Harman Center for the Arts. Simmons will share hosting duties with T.I., Young Jeezy, and LL Cool J. Barack Obama will absolutely not show up.-- WAVVVES, the forthcoming album from San Diego four-track noise-pop entity WAVVES, was supposed to be coming out on De Stijl, but according to his publicist it'll be on Fat Possum instead. Wow, Fat Possum must really be running out of old blues guys, huh?
