Between the Web Sheriff fiasco and back-and-forth apologies, the hubbub surrounding Animal Collective's Merriweather Post Pavilion feels more like a nerdy soap opera than the release of an indie rock album. The drama was ratcheted up a few notches after the Quietus posted what they claim to be a letter from Brian Weitz aka Geologist asking for folks to please leak the album to maintain its start-to-finish integrity.
