Recently the Decemberists have issued three volumes of Always The Bridesmaid singles collections and been anachronistically featured in a Mad Men opening sequence, but now it's all about their Hazards Of Love. And it's got the sort of parenthetically inclined, waterlogged tracklist you'd expect to come from Colin's quill. Examples include "Annan Water," "Won't Want For Love (Margaret In The Taiga)," "The Hazards Of Love 4 (The Drowned)," and most excellently, "Hazards Of Love 1 (The Prettiest Whistles Won't Wrestle the Thistles Undone)." Last week, the Decemberists released As It Ever Was, So It Will Be Again, their first album in six years. The folk-rock band took the new songs “Burial Ground,” “All I Want Is You,” and “Long White Veil” to CBS’ Saturday Sessions this morning to celebrate.
