The Futureheads are wrapping up work on their as-yet-untitled third album and follow up to 2006's News and Tributes. The band recorded for three weeks in Andalusia, Spain with producer Martin "Youth" Glover. Guitarist Ross Millard commented that unlike their restrained sophomore full length "there's much more Punk Rock spirit in the new stuff."

Back in May, the scrappily melodic UK punks Martha released a new song called “Please Don’t Take Me Back.” As it turns out, that was the title track from Martha’s new album, which is dropping at the end of October. Along with the album announcement today, they’ve released another new track.
