At last, the widescreen epics of M83 will get the wide-stage treatment they deserve in the States and Canada! And only at the cost of (choose one) [reveling in/stomaching] a performance by the Killers! Guess there is a [God/Devil] after all. [Yay/Shit]!Fresh off an arena-prep tour in the UK with Kings of Leon-- and after their still-in-progress North American headlining tour wraps up-- M83 will join those murderous Vegas types for the latter's previously reported 2009 trek across North America. Shucks, make sure you [get there/leave] early! The Killers, for their part, have plenty else going on in the wake of this week's release of the totally [rockin'/insufferable] Day & Age. They have a handful of West Coast dates in December, with an overseas jaunt following their M83 link-up and extending into March, [thank goodness/god help us all].And as their persons are invading large-scale venues around the globe, their likenesses with invade our living rooms thanks to the [magic/horrors] of television. First up was "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" last night (November 24), followed by "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" tonight, a performance on Fuse TV Thursday, and a rerun of their "SNL" appearance come Saturday. Please [pinch/kill] me.Oh and don't forget to enter the M83 music video contest if you haven't already done so. Nothing so polarizing about that.read more
