Antony and the Johnsons, New Pornographers frontman A.C. Newman, No Age, Goblin Cock (featuring Pinback's Rob Crow), and Unicorns offshoot Clues lead the initial lineup charge for 2009's Noise Pop Festival, exploding all over San Francisco February 24-March 1.In addition to these early confirmations, Noise Pop will host a film festival featuring screenings of Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison and Agile Mobile Hostile: A Year with Andre Williams, a documentary about the R&B songwriter, among other movies.Good as all that sounds already, Noise Pop's offerings will only get more tantalizing in the coming months, so keep a Bayward eye out.
