Newman, No Age, Goblin Cock (featuring Pinback's Rob Crow), and Unicorns offshoot Clues lead the initial lineup charge for 2009's Noise Pop Festival, exploding all over San Francisco February 24-March 1.In addition to these early confirmations, Noise Pop will host a film festival featuring screenings of Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison and Agile Mobile Hostile: A Year with Andre Williams, a documentary about the R&B songwriter, among other movies.Good as all that sounds already, Noise Pop's offerings will only get more tantalizing in the coming months, so keep a Bayward eye out.
