BTW and movie stars No Age + Free = Happy Halloween. Starting today (as in, now) you can get yourself tickets to see a free No Age show, with Titus Andronicus, in NYC on 11/9. And there will be three more around the country, in conjunction with the launch of shockhound.com, a new music site. This might make me us socialists, but we like free. We believe in spreading the shows around and free music for The People in a non-CMJ environment, so we've signed on to be a media partner for the series, which basically means we'll have some free tickets to give away closer to the event (because this first lot won't last long). Next month, the dreamy Los Angeles underground kings of No Age will release the new album Goons Be Gone. Based on everything we've heard thus far, this is going to be the most direct, tuneful, and punk No Age album in forever -- maybe since they came out storming with the EP-track compilation Weirdo Rippers…
