Ahead-of-the-curve London label Moshi Moshi will celebrate its 10th birthday with a hometown party featuring sets by bands from its decade-long history. Hot Chip, Tilly and the Wall, the Mae Shi, Kate Nash, Florence and the Machine, Slow Club, and Drums of Death will be among those making appearances. The celebration takes place tomorrow (October 18) at Matter as part of the London venue's "This Is Not London" series of club nights.

Hot Chip have announced a new album, called A Bath Full Of Ecstasy, that will be out in June. It's their first album since 2015's Why Make Sense?, and it's their first album that they recruited outside producers to work with them, namely Philippe Zdar (Cassius, Phoenix) and Rodaidh McDonald (the XX, David Byrne, Sampha).
I don't know about y'all, but I could really go for a new Hot Chip album right now. I heard "Ready For The Floor" between bands at SXSW and was reminded how good the lovably dweeby UK dance-pop unit can be at their best.
