Our last transmission from Brooklyn trio Au Revoir Simone was their cover of David Bowie's "Oh! You Pretty Things" from the Life Beyond Mars compilation. They have a remix album out next month. Reverse Migration includes tweaking by the Teenagers, Best Fwends, AIR's Darkel, Montag, Best Fwends, Hot Chip's Alexis Taylor, Air France, and others. Like, for instance, following the migration theme, Belgium-based duo Ruff and Jam's icy, spacious take on "Lark," originally (and also fittingly) from Au Revoir's 2007 release The Bird of Music.
