George Michael: Fined for Wembley oncore

George Michael has been slapped with a $250,000 fine because his performance at Wembley Stadium on June 9 this year overran. According to a spokesperson for the venue, Michael's set ended 13 minutes later than the agreed end time.

This is completely foolish.... $20,000 per minute? All I can see this doing is making more and more promoters avoid the venue like the plague.
