Joanna Newsom has some more shows in her Los Angeles residency this weekend, including another matinee show where she covered children’s songs. At yesterday’s matinee show, she opened with “Yarn And Glue,” which she hasn’t performed since 2005. She had some help from Amber Coffman, who has been present at a couple of these shows. Yesterday’s set also added some new covers into the mix: one of Jim Henson’s “If I Were,” one of Judy Collins’ “Pirate Ships,” and one of Karen Dalton’s “Same Old Man.” Check out video of all those below.

Devendra Banhart has revealed that his new album will be called 'Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon'. The record is set to feature Joanna Newsom's brother Pete Newsom, Vetiver's Andy Cabic, Otto Hauser, Greg Rogove and Rodrigo Amarante from Los Hermanos.
