The strange saga of Pavement’s Terror Twilight-era B-side “Harness Your Hopes” has taken another turn. Back in 1999, when it first appeared on Pavement’s Spit On A Stranger EP, the song was not a noteworthy part of the band’s catalog, but two decades years later, it somehow got caught up in Spotify’s algorithm, becoming Pavement’s biggest streaming hit. The band made a music video for “Harness Your Hopes” when they gave Terror Twilight the deluxe reissue treatment in 2022, and the song became a mainstay of their live show during that year’s reunion tour.

According to Consequence Of Sound, a previously reliable source pins Muse to the coming year's desert fest headlining slot. Glenn Beck just bought a ticket. The dates are April 16-18. Oh and these Coachella headliner rumors? Needs more Pavement.

Or, as The Portland Mercury puts it, "Finally, a Pavement show not in New York or overseas." The reunited indie crew is the only act announced for the 5/29-5/31 Gorge fest, but more details are coming soon.
When Pavement first announced their reunion we told you that Matador noted a "details-to-be-determined compilation album planned for release sometime in 2010." Pavement guitarist Spiral Stairs has revealed that the band are planning to release a best of compilation featuring previously-unreleased radio sessions next year.
