Supergrass have cancelled their 'homecoming' gig at Oxford's Carling Academy due to an injury. Bassist Mick Quinn suffered an accident which left him with a broken back, forcing the cancellation of the gig on September 23. Quinn sleepwalked out of a first floor window of the villa he was staying at in the South of France.

Supergrass: To play one-off homecoming show

Supergrass are to play a one-off 'homecoming' show in Oxford later this year. The band, currently working on the follow-up album to 2005's 'Road To Rouen', will play the Carling Academy venue on September 23. It's the same week the newly revamped venue opens.
