The nominees for this year’s Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame class have been announced. Among the first-time nominees are the White Stripes, Missy Elliott, Sheryl Crow, Warren Zevon, Cyndi Lauper, George Michael, Willie Nelson, and — packaged together as one entity — Joy Division and New Order. Repeat nominees include Kate Bush, Iron Maiden, Soundgarden, the Spinners, A Tribe Called Quest, and Rage Against The Machine. The inductees will be announced in May, with an induction ceremony to follow in the fall.
