Pavement’s ongoing reunion tour has seen quite the variety of setlists, which means they’ve been breaking out tracks for the first time in a while on the regular. Over the past few weeks, they’ve done songs like “AT&T” and “Blue Hawaiian.” Last night, they had a show at The Eastern in Atlanta and they performed “Angel Carver Blues / Mellow Jazz Docent” for the first time in 26 years. The last time they played the Perfect Sound Forever EP track was in 1996. Watch video below.

Pavement week in the city has begun. The New Yorker’s asked if you remember where your tickets are, a fair question and a shared crisis for most who succumbed to the hysterical rush on Ticketmaster one year ago to buy access to this Tuesday’s show at Central Park, only to watch a second, third, even [...]

Pavement are no strangers to cool contests, but this latest one definitely beats roaming around IKEA with Bob Nastanovich (no offense Bob/Sweden). Pavement will perform on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon 9/23 and one lucky fan will be joining the band on guitar. To enter, upload a video of yourself covering one of the songs [...]
