Grunge pioneers L7 released their 1992 studio album, Bricks Are Heavy, 30 years ago today. To celebrate, they’ve announced a 30th anniversary reissue of along with a fall tour. The limited-edition reissue will be out Sept. 30 via Licorice Pizza Records and will feature digitally remastered tracks, courtesy of Howie Weinberg. The band will also release a 2,000-copy run of special-packaged gold vinyl to mark the occasion.

L7 have shared a new cover of Joan Jett & the Blackhearts' "Fake Friends," and they've recruited none other than Joan Jett herself to perform on it alongside them. The Los Angeles band were welcomed into the Blackheart Records fold with last year's Scatter The Rats, their first new album in 20 years.
