Last night, My Morning Jacket kicked off the 2022 edition of their Mexico-based music festival, One Big Holiday, which runs through Saturday. Playing at Riviera Cancun, MMJ did a career-spanning set of songs, which included an appearance from Phish’s Trey Anastasio during the encore. All together, they covered Elton John’s “Rocket Man” (which MMJ has covered live before) and The Rolling Stones’ “Can’t You Hear Me Knocking.” Finally, they ended with It Still Moves classic “Mahgeetah.” Watch the fan-shot footage below.

Last month, Paul McCartney took a shot at the Rolling Stones in a New Yorker interview: “I’m not sure I should say it, but they’re a blues cover band, that’s sort of what the Stones are,” McCartney said. “I think our net was cast a bit wider than theirs.”
