Ian McDonald, co-founder of King Crimson and Foreigner, has died. He was 75. A cause of death was not given, but a spokesperson for the multi-instrumentalist said he “passed away peacefully” surrounded by his family at his home in New York City.

Europe are teaming up with Foreigner to play the iTunes Festival
Fans can look forward to further expanding their Guitar Hero music libraries and shredding this month with tracks by Foreigner, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Steve Miller Band, Alpha Rev, Capra, Snow Patrol and Aerosmith.

Mystery Jets, British Sea Power and Johnny Foreigner are among the acts confirmed for the forthcoming Hinterland Festival.
