Last year, Land Of Talk released a wonderful new album, Indistinct Conversations, which solidified that the Elizabeth Powell-led project was firmly back in the saddle after a seven-year hiatus before their 2017 full-length Life After Youth. Well, there’s more Land Of Talk music to come. Today, Powell is announcing a new EP, Calming Night Partner, which was recorded during the pandemic and will be released next month. Right now, we’re getting the intoxicating lead single “Moment Feed” right now, a warm bed of noise with a driving chorus that makes clear her past connection to the Broken Social Scene orbit.
