Mystery Jets
Mystery Jets are set to headline Club NME Los Angeles with Fred Perry Subculture tonight (February 18).
The likes of Mystery Jets, Lostprophets and The Futureheads are set to feature on a free album featuring covers of The Cure that will be given away with next week's issue of NME on February 25.
Bloc Party, Mystery Jets, Erol Alkan and The Rakes are among the artists who have donated music to be streamed free online as part of a new charity project organised by Twestival, the global Twitter charity.
Florence Welch aka Florence And The Machine hails out of the UK and she's got all the Brit buzz. The BBC critics poll placed her at #3 on that list of most likely breakouts for 2009, the NME threw her on a cover, MGMT took her on their European tour, etc. From what I've heard, which isn't much beyond her singles "Kiss With A Fist" and "Dog Days ...
