Cornell is permanently departing super-group Audioslave stating, "Due to irresolvable personality conflicts as well as musical differences, I am permanently leaving the band Audioslave.

Seems Chris Cornell has been the victim of online identity theft. Or at least people are pretending to be Cornell while chatting or corresponding online. Cornell probably broke a few fans hearts when he announced they were talking to imposters.
